Compass Cove Resort Policies

Reservation Policy

  • An advance deposit is required upon booking; the deposit consists of one night’s room and tax or $100.00 per person for golf packages.
  • Rates are subject to city marketing and resort fees and 13% tax; tax rates may change without notice.
  • Reservations are not final until property acceptance via email.
  • Payment in full is required upon arrival. No personal checks accepted for payment. Payment options are credit card, debit card, cash,  travelers check, or money order. A picture ID is required at check-in.
  • Total Stay Value includes applicable taxes & fees.

 

Check-in Policy

  • Check-in time is 3 pm; Check-out time is 11 am.
  • A valid photo I.D., as well as the credit card used to pay your deposit, will be required at check-in
  • Guests under 21 will not be admitted unless accompanied by an adult or legal guardian.
  • A $100 security deposit is due at check-in on cash payments and is refundable at check-out less any incidental charges.
  • Once registered, there are no refunds for late cancelations, early departure, or not arriving at check-in on your scheduled arrival date.
  • This property is Smoke-Free. Guests may smoke on the outdoor balcony only. A $250.00 cleaning fee will apply if smoking occurs within a guest room.
  • Any card used for any payment must be present at check in with a matching ID or we will not be able to accept the payment. The first-night deposit and any additional payments wanting to be made, need to be made 30 days prior to arrival or the payment has to be made at check-in.
  • City ordinance requires that the individual paying for the room must be present during the stay. As such, if deposits are paid by credit card, said credit card must be presented at the time of check-in by the cardholder bearing also a photo ID whose name matches that on the credit card as well as the reservation. Otherwise, the deposit will be refunded to the original credit card charged and the guest must pay for the entire stay at the time of check-in.

 

Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel 14 days or more before your arrival date you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within 14 days of your arrival date you will forfeit the deposit; failure to show or cancellation within two weeks of arrival constitutes forfeiture.
  • For guest convenience, within 14 days of arrival, guests can retain their advance deposit toward different stay dates within 1 year of the original reservation.
  • Guests who do not arrive on their scheduled arrival date and do not inform the hotel of their wish to change their stay dates will forfeit the advance deposit.

 

Parking Policy

  • Parking passes are required for onsite parking and will be issued at check-in.
  • One parking pass is issued for 1 bedroom condos and smaller.
  • Two parking passes are issued for 2 bedroom condos and larger.
  • For multiple or oversized vehicles, please contact the resort prior to arrival.

 

Pet Policy

  • Pets are welcome November through February only. A Non-refundable $25 per day Pet Fee will be charged to Pet-Friendly reservations, not to exceed $150 per stay. Pets must be less than 40 pounds.

 

Miscellaneous

  • Ocean View denotes an angle or side view of the ocean. Oceanfront denotes a direct view of the ocean.
  • Your Health and Safety is of utmost importance, therefore, if the “Do Not Disturb” sign remains on your door for an extended period- of- time and we are unable to contact you, we may knock on your door and if no answer, enter your room to determine your well-being. Please understand it is not our intention to disturb guests during their vacation, however, we reserve the right to enter rooms to check on the safety and security of our guests and property as well as to perform maintenance and repairs.
