What to Do in Myrtle Beach for Canadian-American Days

In winter, you can’t blame our Canadian neighbors for dreaming about a Myrtle Beach resort in the spring.

In its 61st year, Canadian-American Days is a celebration bound with fun and sun. It’s a week-plus of reacquaintance with the beach — some 60 miles of it in all its glory.

For golf, calabash seafood, lounging on the shore, and more, we’re looking forward to Can-Am Days. The beach is open, restaurants are open, and people are ready to celebrate spring.

What’s the Mask Situation in Myrtle Beach?

As you know, things change in a heartbeat. As of this posting, there isn’t a city mandate for masks. They’re recommended in situations where it’s not easy to socially distance.

Many Grand Strand businesses have expanded cleaning and sanitation protocols during the pandemic. Most offer hand sanitizer and some require staff to wear masks.

Heed requests per business, usually posted on or near the door. For the latest, check out Healthy Travel Page and the DHEC.

You can find free PCR testing clinics in Conway, Myrtle Beach, and North Myrtle Beach. CVS, Conway Medical Center, and Walgreens also offer testing. We recommend appointments at all locations.
