Lots of Myrtle Beach resorts and hotels claim to be the best on the beach. Compass Cove Oceanfront Resort doesn’t have to – our guests say it for us.
Families, friends and golf foursomes spend their vacations at Compass Cove Oceanfront Resort year after year, which we regard as the ultimate compliment.
But some go the extra mile and share the word about Compass Cove Oceanfront Resort via letters, online comments, social media and other travel web sites.
For some guests, it’s the clean, comfortable oceanfront accommodations. For others it’s the on-site restaurants, water park and other amenities. Others say it’s all of the above.
Although we hate to toot our own horn (Toot Toot!), we would want to share some of our favorite feedback about the Compass Cove vacation experience:
“We love to go to Compass Cove. Every time we go we have a blast. The water park is super fun for the kids, the rooms are huge with plenty of space for big families or groups of friends, staff is super nice, the food at Compass Rose is great. Location is awesome, right on the beach and close to everything. Highly recommended!”

“Our favorite things to do while visiting is to stop at Compass Joe’s for some Starbucks coffee, swim in all the pools available, and look for sharks’ teeth out on the beach. We love to chill and relax at the hotel and enjoy time with our kids.” – Guest comment

All the staff were very friendly, helpful and nice from the time we checked in until we checked out. The Compass Rose Cafe was great, the food delicious and the staff were super. “Compass Cove was a great resort with plenty to do. … All of the kids stayed busy and we honestly could of stayed at the resort the whole trip. There are several pools all around the resort and most of them, if not all, were heated. There were also hot tubs around every corner and great water slides. They were all cleaned every morning as I was watching the sunrises. All of the hand rails we’re safe for our toddler and the building we were in was well maintained. We stayed in the Pinnacle building. Overall an excellent resort that I would recommend.

“We had such an amazing time at Compass Cove! Very nice room, awesome view, great amenities too! We barely left the hotel/beach and we still didn’t make it through all of the pools! There are so many! Wish we could have stayed longer but we will for sure be back! We have found our go to hotel!
