Restaurants and Attractions Make Compass Cove a Worthwhile Choice

It’s time to pile the family into the car and head to the beach!

Myrtle Beach is alive and well during the off-season. So much remains open in the winter months when the weather is still mild for some outdoor activities. When you choose Compass Cove Resort, you’re in for a few more extras, too.

You might have to remind yourself to venture off the property!

SHOP

Who can resist a keepsake from a memorable vacation? On-site shopping also means those things you forgot to bring are also at your fingertips.

What’s here: There’s no doubt you’ll wind up in the Harbor Gift Shop at some point. For a water bottle, beach chair, sunglasses, souvenirs, and more. They’ve thought of what you’ll need before you think you’ll need it! You can even take home your very own Coco!

ACTIVITIES

For many families, it’s the fun and games on-site that seal the deal to stay at Compass Cove. You don’t have to look far for a match and even a prize.

What’s here: Checkers and chess sets are huge hits. With larger-than-life pieces, these strategy games take on a whole new dimension! Play shuffleboard outside, and hit the game room, complete with pinball, a claw game, original Pac-man, and more.

Recommended: Stop in for checkers after a beach walk or shuffleboard before dinner. All the fun is convenient, too.

The Legend of Coco the Octopus

During your check in at Compass Cove Resort, tell the kids to keep an eye out for Coco the Octopus. Myrtle Beach’s most loved mollusk is hanging around somewhere, with a smile to greet all guests.

He’s bright blue and friendly. When you spot him, be sure to post a photo on your social media.
