This events calendar will give you a good start!

MARCH 22 (and every Tuesday)

Myrtle Beach History, Movies, And Music Trolley Tour, 10 a.m. – noon, Grand 14 Movie Theater At The Market Common. Listen to the tale of your favorite vacation destination’s history. You’ll stop at The Fitzgerald Motel at Charlie’s Place Historical Site. The enclosed trolley is climate controlled.

MARCH 24 (and every Thursday)

Myrtle Beach Area Ghosts, Pirates & Historic Families Trolley Tour. 10 a.m. – noon, Grand 14 Movie Theater at The Market Common. Ride Murrells Inlet, and hear accounts of ghosts, pirates, and families who made history. Your enclosed and climate-controlled trolley will stop at the Hammock Shops.

MARCH 26

Rhythm Of The Dance, 7 p.m., The Carolina Opry Theater. It’s a great live show featuring the world’s finest Irish dancers, musicians, and singers. Witness classic dance and music with contemporary stage technology. It’s a unique artistic experience!

APRIL 23

Air Supply, 7 p.m., The Carolina Opry Theatre. See this hall-of-fame duo sing your soft-rock favorites from the 80s. Hear “Lost in Love,” “Even the Nights Are Better,” and more.

APRIL 29-30

Brookgreen Gardens Art Festival, Brookgreen Gardens. See fine craftsmanship and art from the region and nationwide. Shop for gifts of fabric art, glass, paintings, pottery, sculptures, and more.

APRIL 15, MAY 13, AND JUNE 10

Sensory Friendly Ripley’s Aquarium, 9-11 a.m. The house lights go up and the music and sound effects go down. Pick up noise-canceling headphones and a selfie scavenger hunt sheet at guest services. Win a prize for turning it in. CAN card rates: $15 for adults, $12 for kids 6-11, and $7 for kids 3-5.

MAY 4

Elton John Tribute Show, 7 p.m., GTS Theatre. Pianist and vocalist Bill Connors is an expert at depicting this pop legend. And he looks like him too. Enjoy the color, costumes, and showmanship.

MAY 28

10th Annual Brookgreen Gardens Memorial Day 5K, 6 p.m., Brookgreen Gardens. Run through these picturesque grounds at dusk. Race participants can enter Brookgreen Gardens at 4:30 on race day. Strollers, runners, and walkers are welcome. Visitors can come with you to the race.

MAY 29

Surfside Beach Memorial Day Golf Cart Parade, 10 a.m., Ocean Boulevard, Surfside Beach. For more information on this annual event, call 843-913-6359.
