Ripley’s Penguin Playhouse is part of a massive expansion – the biggest in the facility’s 20 years in Myrtle Beach. We’re talking 5,500 more feet of sea-going habitat! At the heart of it all: A world-class penguin habitat like no other. The penguin habitat features floor-to-ceiling viewing glass more than 50 feet long! Get the penguin’s-eye view in a 360-degree for the full-waddle experience. Don’t miss the in-house nursery and have a peek at penguin babies.

It’s all part of the Aquarium’s conservation effort for the African penguin. Also known as the Cape penguin, it’s one of the world’s most endangered species. Ripley’s Aquarium is doing its part to help this new colony become a growing flock!
