Piers: A Perfect Place for Photos

For photos out into the ocean, straight down at the waves, or of the skyline, it’s a great vantage point from which to click and share. Did you know there are nine piers in the Myrtle Beach area? Here are some of our favorites!

Apache Pier

There’s a rest spot halfway down if you get tired walking it! At the Apache Family Campground, it’s the longest wooden pier on the East Coast, at 1,206 feet — almost a quarter-mile.

Pier 14

Make sure to visit the gift shop and restaurants at Pier 14, a Myrtle Beach tradition. You’ll find it near oceanfront properties on the boardwalk.

Cherry Grove Fishing Pier

On the north end of North Myrtle Beach, this pier is a haven for fishermen. If the fish aren’t biting, hit the Boardwalk Beach Cafe next door.

Broadway at the Beach

This shopping center has SO many possibilities for photo ops — restaurants, shops, entertainment, and more. See it all, or people watch as you get your steps in.

Myrtle Waves Water Park

It’s one of the summer’s biggest hits, and it’s the largest of five water parks around. Take the family for lots of wonderful opportunities for pictures.
