Dec. 21, 2:30 p.m., Brooks Stadium, Coastal Carolina University, Conway
Catch the inaugural Myrtle Beach Bowl, which ESPN will broadcast. Schools participating haven’t been determined, but a bowl game in Myrtle Beach is an opportunity for the nation to see the prime vacation destination you already love! Brooks is a gorgeous stadium, too.
48th Annual Art In The Park at Valor Park
Nov. 14-15, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Valor Park at Market Common
Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild hosts Art in The Park in Myrtle Beach. Come see work from more than 30 artists from all over the east coast and Tennessee, and about half of those are locals. Come see fabric, glass, jewelry, metal, paintings, photography, woodwork, and more.
4th Annual Myrtle Beach Holiday Bazaar and Gift Show
Nov. 15, 11 a.m.-4 p.m., The Cooper House, Myrtle Beach
The Holiday Bazaar is free fun for kids and adults. enjoy food on hand, enter the 50/50 raffle, get a free chair massage, jump in the bounce house, look into pet adoption, visit vendors, and grab a swag bag and a goodie bag while you’re here. The show will go on, rain or shine.
BritNic 2020 British Car Show
Nov. 21, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., TicketReturn.Com Field, Myrtle Beach
Head to the stadium for this Grand Strand British Car Club event. BRITNIC 2020 will feature as many as 55 British cars. Admission is free, and there will be concessions available. Check out food trucks from Benitos Rolling Oven, EZCheezy Truck, Kurbside Katering, and more.
Wash Day at the L.W. Paul Living History Farm
Nov. 24, 9 a.m.-noon, L.W. Paul Living History Farm, Conway
Learn how laundry was done before modern washing machines. Wash Day allows you to try your hand at washing the old fashioned way, with a scrub board and wash pot. The farm is open Tuesday-Saturday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., for other lessons about farm life from 1900-1955.
North Myrtle Beach Turkey Trot
Nov. 26, 7 a.m., Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach
The newest Thanksgiving Day 5K tradition began at Barefoot Landing in 2019. That race attracted 200 runners. Race starts at 8:30 a.m. Strollers, runners, and walkers are all welcome. Get a nice race T-shirt and post-race goodies, too.
