The 2014 Compass Cove Resort Kids Club
Enjoying a relaxing Myrtle Beach vacation can be difficult for parents who spend most of their time chasing their children. Kids have a lot of energy, and folks can find themselves returning home from family vacation more worn out than they left.
All the more reason to spend your next vacation at Compass Cove Resort, where families come to stay and play. Our downtown oceanfront resort not only offers plenty of swimming pools, aquatic playgrounds and other fun amenities; it also features the Compass Cove Resort Kids Club, which organizes fun games and activities both day and night to keep your young ones happy and entertained.
Check out the daily and weekly Kids Club itinerary and sign your youngsters up for the activities they enjoy most, allowing parents to get some valuable me-time or we-time while Compass Cove Resort’s staff of kid-friendly recreation coordinators keep them engaged with a wide selection of activities. Kids mingle with other children their age and form friendships that last at least one week.
Games, such as the water-balloon toss, board games and sand-castle building contests, and arts and crafts activities like sand art, sea-shell hunting and friendship bracelet-making can keep kids involved and spark their imaginations. Most activities are free, but some come with a small fee, such as design-your-own tie-dye T-shirt and make-your-own ice-cream sundae events. Other social gatherings include a weekly animal show, bingo games and a treasure hunt that sends kids scavenging around the resort for clues and prizes.
But the highlight of the week comes on Friday nights, or as Compass Cove Resort calls it, Parents Night Out. Hit the town for a nice dinner or a show while the kids gather for a fun night of movies, popcorn and pizza. For only $10 per child, guests can buy a couple of hours for a date night, or just some quiet time alone at the resort.
Compass Cove Resort Kids Club activities are designed for ages 5 and up. Daily signups are held at noon each day and some events are limited to the first 15 children who register. Parents are required to drop off and pick up each child before and after each activity, which last between 20 to 45 minutes apiece.
