The Night Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining the resort’s cleanliness and condition standards of all laundry/linen provided to the guests (also in accordance with the Department of Health).
Responsibilities of the Overnight Laundry attendant include, but are not limited to:
Sorting, washing, and drying laundry articles according to type and specified methods
Treating any stained linen or discard if appropriate
Loading, unloading, and operating washers, dryers and any other machinery in a safe manner
Cleaning lint traps in dryers on a regular basis for optimum performance on the machines and to prevent the possibility of fires
Stocking shelves and linen buggies for transportation to other areas of the resort
Compliant with all resort safety and security guidelines; report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor or manager
Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within the laundry/housekeeping department
Reporting all lost and found items in compliance to company policy
Other duties, as assigned by the supervisor or manager
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort.
