Top 5 Indoor Water Facilities at Compass Cove Resort

If anyone tells you it's too cold to go swimming in Myrtle Beach this time of year, they've never stayed and played at Compass Cove Oceanfront Resort. Even on the chilliest winter days the water is still warm and the green light is on for a splashing good time. Compass Cove's list of indoor water amenities is endless, but here are our guests' five favorites:

Compass Cruiser and Schooner Screamer: Compass Cove guests never need to visit a waterpark when there's one right on the property. The Compass Cruiser and Schooner Screamer provide those brave enough the chance to experience the thrill of waterslides many have to find at the waterpark. Make the three-story climb to the top of the slides and pick your poison: a twisting, twirling spin down the Schooner Screamer or a speed chute blast down the Compass Cruiser. Whichever route you choose, you will splash down at Compass Cove's indoor waterpark on the west side of the tower. You will find yourself racing back up the platform for another thrilling ride on the wet and wild slide.

Jacuzzis: It's always a good time to take a dip in the hot tub, but especially when the weather outside is a bit nippy. After a windy walk on the beach or a chilly shopping trip, it's nice to know you can always head back to your vacation home away from home at Compass Cove and enjoy a relaxing soak in one of our indoor Jacuzzis. Built for small and large parties, you can join in the party or find a quiet spot to yourself while experiencing the sensation of being submerged in bubbling water. Good news for parents: Some of the hot tubs are strategically located near the bottom of the waterslides, kiddie pools, and playground so you can watch the little ones play from a safe and relaxing distance.

Kiddie Playground: That's right; Compass Cove's kiddie pools are more like kiddie playgrounds. In addition to the popular Silly Submarine outdoor splash pad, Compass Cove also has shallow pools for the little ones with lots of fun features, such as tipping buckets and waterfalls. Parents can join in the fun and play with their kids or sit nearby and watch as they explore the kid-sized waterpark.

Lazy River: The name says it all for those who like their adventure in the slow lane. Experience the relaxing sensation of floating down a drifting stream without the trouble of visiting an actual river. Hop on a raft or tube and let the heated, flowing water do all the work while you kick back and take it all in. Dip your toes in the water while you glide along the straightaways and twirl through the turns. Located on the ground floor of the towers, guests can look out over the oceanfront pool deck while floating down the lazy river.

Pools: For all the thrills and frills of the waterslides and lazy river, there's nothing like going for a dip in an old school swimming pool. In addition to three outdoor pools on the oceanfront, Compass Cove also has three indoor pools for guests to enjoy a swim any time of year and in any kind of weather. Rainy days and chilly nights are no obstacles for Compass Cove guests who like to hit the pools.

Of course, Compass Cove Resort offers much more than indoor water fun. Featuring modern accommodations with private balconies overlooking the ocean and other amenities like our state-of-the-art fitness center, Compass Cove has everything you need and want in a vacation destination. Just be sure to pack a swimsuit.
