Enjoy a Barefoot Cruise on the Intracoastal Waterway, Myrtle Beach
Trips depart daily during the summer from Barefoot Landing Marina located in North Myrtle Beach at mile 354 on the water. The Barefoot Marina is directly across the Intracoastal from the well-known Barefoot Landing. At the marina they offer a pool, hot tub, exercise room, gas, laundry, ship store, ice and a spa.
The location of the Barefoot Princess is at 4932 Highway 17 S., North Myrtle Beach, SC in the back of Barefoot Landing. The best place to park is next to Greg Norman’s Australian Grille. There is free public parking in front of Greg Norman’s that is safe and well lit for your convenience.
Barefoot Princess Riverboat offers several different cruises for you to choose. There are the Sightseeing Cruises, Sunset Cruises, Dinner Cruises, Corporate Groups, Private Party Cruises and of course School Field Trips.
The Sightseeing Cruise is 1.5 hours of a guided tour of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway. You will see scenic beauty as you pass woodlands, view beautiful houses, representing the past and present. Entertaining and educational narration brings it all to life aboard the climate controlled 150 passenger riverboat complete with restrooms and snack bar. A relaxing and fun escape for the entire family.
The Sunset Cruise allows passengers to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery and gentle breeze for 1.5 hours, while watching the sunset across the Intracoastal Waterway. Private Sunset Cruises are also available for groups, along with special menu and entertainment options.
Try dining on the Barefoot Princess Riverboat. They offer dinner cruises that will allow passengers 2 hours to enjoy a delicious buffet and fellowship together while cruising. The buffet may consist of Boneless Country Style BBQ Ribs, Boneless Grilled Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Chef’s Choice of Vegetables, and Tossed Salad with choice of Dressings, Rolls and Butter, Chef’s Choice of dessert, Coffee, Tea and Water. Adult beverages are available at our Full Service Bar, as are soft drinks and kid-friendly beverages. After dinner, passengers may relax on the top deck of the riverboat and enjoy the scenery, or dance to the beat of the music on the second deck.
If you have a large group or want to have a private cruise, Barefoot Princess can accommodate their schedule for you. They offer their boat for team-building, meeting, product launches, training outings and client/employee hospitality events. They can help you with special menus and entertainment for your group. You will want to contact their group sales department to help you specialize your event.
There are several holidays that you can join the Barefoot Princess. They offer special rates and some fun planned activities to make you and your group feel very special. There is the Fourth of July Celebration Cruise, Thanksgiving and Christmas specials too. You will need to check the special events on their website to see what they are offering.
When you are ready to purchase your tickets, make sure to first check their schedule for dates and times of the cruises. They vary throughout the week, from afternoon sightseeing cruises that start between 12:30 and 2:30, to the dinner cruises, that start between 5:00 and 5:30, and the sunset cruises that start around 8:00 PM.

Ticket Prices vary by cruise. For the Sightseeing Cruise it is $19/adult and Children 3-12 are $11.00. They do have a special for every paid adult, 1 child is free, ages 3-12. The Dinner Cruise ticket price is $39/adult and Children 3-12 are $22.00. The Sunset Cruise ticket price is $20/adult and Children 3-12 are $12.00. They do offer many discounts and coupons so make sure to keep your eyes out for them.
There are a few helpful hints for you to know before you cruise on the Barefoot Princess. If it is raining, they still do cruise because the 1st and 2nd decks are enclosed and climate controlled with great viewing for all. There is no dress code, but you will want to be comfortable. Remember, that they will begin boarding 30 minutes prior to cruising.
