You’re on a top-secret dark ops mission for the Pentagon. The military pouch you’re taking to the secret base in the Amazon contains the information necessary to stop the insurgency. Standard military transport would have been too obvious, so your contact arranged for local transport. It may not look like much, but it’s all you’ve got and the mission is urgent. The yellow submarine has to get past floating mines laid down by the enemy, and navigate a labyrinthine maze filled with hidden dangers along the way in order to avoid discovery. The Compass Cove video arcade offers fun for the young and the young at heart! Our game room features pool tables, air hockey, pinball, and all the latest video offerings. Whether it’s a rainy day activity or you’ve simply had your fill of the sun – our on-site video arcade provides indoor fun that’s great for the whole family! When you get tired of collecting seashells, building sand castles and surfing the waves, you can complete your cadet training at a five-star police academy, speed toward victory as a racecar driver while leaving the competition in the dust, or track wild game as a seasoned hunter out for the big kill. The Compass Cove video arcade provides all the thrills you need for a day of indoor fun.
What is more relaxing then spending some time in a hot Jacuzzi and listening to the bubbles as the water jets gently hit your body? There are two hot tubs and five Jacuzzis for just such indulgences at Compass Cove. You left the dog with the neighbors and accidentally gave the boss the wrong number... This vacation isn’t costing you a fortune because there’s just so much to do at Compass Cove that’s free. Isn’t it time to relax? Just lean back and close your eyes... Listen to the calls of the seagulls and the surf as it comes ashore. There will be time enough for worries when you get back home, but for now you can have the time of your life.

If we had any more you’d get tuckered out going from one to the next. But you’ve got time. Stay with us for a week and relax – then you only have to visit three different pools per day. (Don’t forget to save some time for the ocean...)
There’s so much to do in Myrtle Beach – para-sailing, water skiing, golfing, shopping, to name on ly a few things – some folks have a time deciding what to do. At Compass Cove you don’t have to do anything, we have it all right here. You can walk around the Schooner and Pinnacle Buildings and visit each of our 22 different pool features. You can lay out on the pool decks and read that book you haven’t had time to get into back home. The kids can burn off some of that energy in the pools and then spend some time in our on-site video game arcade. Later you can play shuffleboard or burn off the calories from that big dinner in our Fitness Center. And if we don’t have enough for you, there’s always the beach...
As you relax on the balcony of one of Compass Cove’s more than 500 rooms (all but a few of them directly facing the ocean), you have the opportunity to pause and reflect on the day. Perhaps you’ll start the morning on the Schooner pool deck, and then take the kids to the Family Kingdom for the first time (or continue a family tradition), and then get in some shopping at the Tanger Outlet Mall before heading back to the resort. As you listen to the waves and the seagulls you might contemplate dinner at one of the many restaurants in Murrells Inlet or on restaurant row. Perhaps you’ll decide on the oceanfront dining tradition that is the Sea Captain’s House. But there’s no hurry or schedules to keep; this is your vacation. Compass Cove is your home away from home. Just enjoy the ocean breeze – you’ll get to that other stuff soon enough.
Romance Packages
If you want to start the day off right you can’t do any better than breakfast in the Compass Rose restaurant. If there were a guide-star for good food you’d find the Compass Rose when you looked down from it serving buffet and a la carte breakfast daily from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The bountiful, southern buffet breakfast is comprised of all natural ingredients and is prepared with exquisite attention to detail. The breakfast at Compass Rose is worth experiencing even if you don’t stay with us (but why would you want to limit yourself like that?)
Do you remember the first time your parents took you to a swimming pool? The pure, innocent joy of running in shallow water and splashing anyone who got too close? Compass Cove has 22 pool features, ten of which are on the oceanfront decks of the Pinnacle and Schooner buildings. There’s always plenty of room on the wide Atlantic beach, but if you prefer to stay closer to your room or just don’t feel like getting sand between your toes on a particular day, you don’t have to. We’ve designed every amenity with you in mind. At Compass Cove there’s something for everyone. You don’t have to join the kids by jumping in every single one of our twenty two pool features (but you can if you want to).

The Compass Cove Gift Shop offers sundries, souvenirs and snacks for last minute shoppers and keepsake collectors alike. Whether you’re looking for toothpaste or t-shirts, sodas, postcards or beach towels, our guest emporium has a little bit of everything for both golfers and vacationers. You’ll find jewelry, beach blankets, boogie boards, sunglasses, film, batteries, coffee and much more. All this without even having to leave the resort!

Kids Club Activities: We believe our youngest guests deserve an exciting and memorable vacation of their own. That's why we've spent hours planning a safe and nurturing program that gives kids the opportunity to experience activities they will remember into adulthood. From participating in sandcastle building contests to creating the perfect ocean art masterpiece, our trained and CPR certified staff is ready to help create a fun-filled vacation for your youngster. Not only is this program a great way for children to meet other kids and get some time away from parents, it allows parents time to themselves! Our Kids Club offers an exciting schedule of activities that encourages your child, age 5-12, to be energetic and creative. All the activities have been planned to provide unforgettable entertainment and fun while fostering each child's creative mind. Activities may include: Designing your own beach visor, t-shirt or beach bag Free show with our very own magician, Seashell Hunt Sandcastle and beach volcano building Face painting and jewelry making! To participate in the Kids Club, parents should meet with our counselors at designated areas beginning at 10:00 a.m. each morning. These locations are identified on information boards located in the registration lobby and on informational fliers at the front desk. Please contact the resort directly for more information. Kids Club also offers a "Parents Night Out". One evening a week parents can leave their child with our attentive Kids Club staff and enjoy an evening together-kid free! Children will munch on pizza, play games and make new friends. Kids Club Schedule & Charges: Open Monday through Friday 10:00am to 4:00pm. Children must be 5-12 years of age. Each child must be signed up by an adult for each activity. Participants must be age 5-12. Some activities require a small fee ranging from $1.00-$5.00. This fee is charged to your room.
